The Art of Having Nothing to Say (Part Two)

Greetings, G.O. readers!

Yes, I'm still alive!  I'm not even making any promises this time about how many entries I plan to do each week or how active I'll be on Twitter.  It seems as though, whenever I make a commitment to do a certain thing or a certain number of things, I rarely stick to it.  Plus, I'm tired of hearing my own self make promises I don't keep.  I am proud to say that I have been working on my writing consistently.  I completed my book and am nearly finished with the editing process.  I only have about 50 more pages to go.  I also have a short story on deck that I would also like to get published.

As far as the rest of my life--I still feel like I'm in a snow globe that someone has just shaken up, but I'm still here.  I'm alive.  I'm blessed.  Am I scared because things seem so out of control right now?  Yes.  But I'm doing my best to give the particulars over to God, and let Him handle them.  I've certainly been doing a piss poor job up until now.  I'm still working on myself and have set some new goals, (I really suck at goals....if I find some useful information about goal setting that really can help someone as hapless as me, I will have to post a link--so maybe someone else can be helped).

I think I just have too many balls in the air right now.  As a matter of fact, I know I do.  Work.  Writing a novel.  The Missy Show.  The Missy Show Blog.  Social Media.  Being a Wife.  Maintaining a house--and trying to get Girl October out there on a larger scale, (something had to give, and unfortunately it has been G.O.).  But I vow to get things together.  I just won't do promises with specifics.  Actions speak louder than words.  Don't talk about it--be about it.  So I'm going to shut up, and do just that.  I still have the same aim for this blog, that I always have.  To create and inspire positivity in myself and others.

I'm gonna get there.  We all are--eventually.  Much love and positive vibes to all of you, (and please, send that energy back to me, too)!
Until next time,
Girl October
