Fall Pics, Plus Instagram

Greetings G.O. Readers!

I hope this Friday finds you all well, and ready for an awesome, upcoming weekend.  As stated on my Missy Show blog, I will be posting more; I've just had a lot going on with all the Hurricane scare, stuff.  I feel blessed and happy to report that Irma did not come our way, (we just got some strong winds on Monday, but no rain or anything).  That's not something that I take for granted however, living here on the Gulf Coast.  We've been dodging some bullets here for awhile in my neck of the woods; so I remain forever grateful for that blessing, and send super abundant prayers to all the people affected in Florida, The Bahamas, The Virgin Islands, and anywhere else, (and not forgetting the people in Texas, too).  May God bless you with all the assistance you need to rebuild, and put your lives back together.

On another note, I wanted to let you guys know that I've created an Instagram page for Girl October.  That's where I'll primarily be posting most of my Fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas pics.  I'm not as super into the other holidays, but who knows, I might post Valentine's, Mardi Gras, and Easter stuff too.  Don't know if I could get that into Memorial Day and Fourth of July, (unless it's Christmas in July), but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.  Many of the Instagram pics will also be posted on The Girl October website too, (though I'll try to have some variation).  Stay tuned.  It may take a while to get them uploaded.  Here is a link to the new Instagram page:

Of course my favorite month of the year is coming up--October!  Yay!  And on the Missy Show, we'll be featuring our October Pet Spooktacular episodes again.  Those titles will be announced very soon.  You can check our Missy Show blog for further details, (if you're into creepy animal topics).

We're also going to feature Autumn and Halloween "This or That" on this blog, starting on the first day of Fall, and continuing off and on throughout the holiday season.  There will also be Thanksgiving and Christmas themed "This or That's" too.  In case you're not familiar with what This or That's are, I got the idea from those scenario games we played back in school.  It's basically like those games we'd play as kids where we'd ask which car would you rather drive, or who would you rather marry?  I got inspired to do the Fall and Holiday versions of the game from Tumblr.  Many of the Fall blog users on there, call theirs "Autumn Asks."  For example, "Pumpkin pie or Sweet Potato Pie?"  I pose the questions, and give my answers, and you guys can post your answers too, in the comments.  It'll be fun to see what we come up with.

That's it for now.  I'll be back with new material on Monday.  Here's to hoping you guys have an awesome weekend.

Until Monday,
Bless Your October Souls!!!!
